three Angels who came to me
An email arrived on Monday, June 19, 2006 at 5:55 pm from Sally
telling me that her Dad, Sterling McNees had died and that a
Memorial Service will be held at Los Altos Union Presbyterian Church.

I went to my web site WisdomPortal.com and consulted
some Angel Cards via a random generator.
The three cards that came to me were:
Peace... Openness... Understanding...

Was that your soul flying by me
A friend drove me to Kaiser Permanente in Mountain View
for my blood test on June 19. While walking on Hope Street,
a giant colorful butterfly flew close above me.
It was 1:00 pm and I composed this haiku:

        A flutter of wings
        under the magnolia tree—
        pretty butterfly!
