"Wen Chang Hua Kuo Chia"
"Tao Te Yuin Kuang Hsiang"
"Literary essays glorify country home"
"Tao of virtue grants light of bliss"

My ancestral grandfathers wrote these
poems for our family tree's middle names.
Jimmy's son Byron is carrying the "light",
will his "blissful" son continue the tradition?

While living the spiritual quest,
I've abandoned the family life—
but ancestral blood flowing in me
demands a literary poetic encore.

Placed Paul Brunton's tanka portrait
of sage Chou Tun-Yi before me—
perhaps his image will inspire
some illuminating words of wisdom.

Fenn's "5000 Dictionary of Chinese Words"
helped composing a five-word poem
illustrated with Swiss airmail stamp
showing angelic being ascending above.

"Yung Lè K'ang P'ing An"
"Eternal joyful healthy tranquil peace"
will bless five more generations
to enjoy fruitful wonderful lives.
