Yin-Yang Leaf Hundreds of ash leaves scattered on the ground in my yard, some brown some yellow, rustling in the wind as I pass, one by my feet has caught my attention— a Yin-Yang leaf! Half dark & half light, brown and bright yellow side by side— I pick up this treasure and sandwich it in a book. Scanned it a week later but yellow has faded— Nature does not wait! Tried to restore color in Photoshop without blocking out the veins using 40% opacity fill. Let me honor this leaf— dark & light, night & day, female & male, soft & hard, valley & mountain, cold & hot, slow & fast, passive & active, wet & dry, moon & sun— not choosing either one but the Tao of balance. — Peter Y.
