Auburn 851 Automobile: Right Side

Angel Clouds Above Auburn Auto Cirrus clouds swirled above the sky when I came out of the Los Altos Library. While taking photos of these heavenly clouds, an earthly invention caught my attention— A vintage automobile was parked at a wedding— a car connoisseur told me it's an 1935 Auburn 851 made in Indiana, USA by Duesenberg & Buehrig. Such a classic beauty so pleasing to the eye contoured to perfection. I admired especially the Auburn hood ornament streamlined as an angel. With angel clouds over me, time to savor this moment— "As above, so below." Auburn Speedster was the car for film stars & royalty— Clark Gable, James Cagney & King Gahzi of Iraq. Starring in Desire with Gary Cooper, Marlene Dietrich on first seeing the Auburn sighed "It's a cloud!"   — Peter Y. Chou       Mountain View, 2-10-2016
