Preface: Paul McCartney and John Lennon of the Beatles were interested in Eastern philosophy and studied transcendental meditation with Maharishi Mahesh Yogi (1968). So it's not surprising to find photos of them with the wisdom mudra pose (Jnana). Composed a page with them in this yogic pose with song "When I'm 64" (2002) which I sent to friends who reached this age. There are 64 hexagrams in the I Ching (1000 BC) that inspired Gottfried Leibniz to design the binary code for computers. There are 64 codons in DNA that code for 20 amino acids in creating proteins. There are 64 squares in chess, and the Knight chess piece can cover them in 64 moves. 64 is indeed a magical number. Rows & columns of 8x8 Magic Square add to 260.
