Preface: Ansel Adams (1902-1984) and Galen Rowell (1940-2002) were two of the best nature and landscape photographers. Two of their books are shown above containing many mountain photos. Instead of scanning from books, they were downloaded from various web sites. Bought a box of Thomas Mangelsen's "Images of Nature" cards in 1995 showing birds and wildlife. There are many mountain photos on his web site, and four below are shown. Jack Bauer lives in Ridgway, Colorado, and has many excellent mountain photos. Chose three of them. Selected four from Pinterest's posting of 160 Mountain Photos. Pexels has 1000+ mountain photos for free downloading, but no names of photographers. Unsplash has 20,177 free mountain photos with photographers' names: Tanvi Malik's Peyto Lake, Christopher Burns's Patagonia, and Rohit Tandon's Ama Dablam.
