Preface: Ansel Adams (1902-1984) and Galen Rowell (1940-2002) are two of the best nature and landscape photographers. Two of their books are shown above containing many mountain photos. Instead of scanning from books, they were downloaded from various web sites. Bought a box of Thomas Mangelsen's "Images of Nature" cards in 2001 showing birds and wildlife. There are many mountain photos on his web site, and am showing four below. Jack Bauer lives in Ridgway, Colorado, and has many excellent mountain photos. Chose three of them. Pinterest posted 160 Mountain Photos, of which I've selected four below.
