Poem: Where's My Mom?

Where's My Mom?

A row of baby ducklings following
a white dog who has no idea where
mama duck is. The ducklings climb
all over him, but he's not your Mom.

A chick is riding a kitten
looking for mother hen, and
is told "I'm looking for mother
cat. Looks like we're both lost."

But baby chick has found a warm
kitten as its home. He snuggles
close to her belly: "We're not lost,
but found each other for comfort."

Touching photos of animals being
kind to one another— Perhaps
these images will inspire humans
to do likewise, making more friends.
