Pinterest sent 17 cute photos mostly jack rabbits with long ears alone and in pairs. One image caught my attention— bright yellow goldfinch singing to me that spring is here. It also reminded me of paintings "Madonna of the Goldfinch" by Raphael and Tiepolo. Madonna's face is so serene and calm with baby John holding a goldfinch and Jesus touching it. Goldfinch loves thorns & thistle symbolizing Passion of Christ at his Crucifixion & Resurrection. Egyptians believe goldfinch carries the soul to heaven and shamans say they bring joy.
