Warriors Win 4 NBA Championships in 8 Years

Warriors Beat Celtics 103-90 in Finals

Curry Wins NBA Finals MVP Award

Klay Thompson in Finals vs Celtics

When living in Boston (1970-1985),
I rooted for the Red Sox
and Boston Celtics.

After moving to West Coast (1985),
San Francisco Giants, 49ers, and
Warriors became my favorites.

Gone were Parrish, McHale, and Bird,
Curry, Thompson, and Green
are my new basketball heroes.

The NBA Finals between Warriors
and Celtics were exciting & intense
while listening to the radio broadcasts.

Celtics are longer, stronger, younger,
Warriors are older, smarter, wiser—
a match between brawn against brain?

Warriors had must-wins in Games 2 & 4,
and Curry scored 29 and 43 points
in them to keep their hopes alive.

Thompson scored 21 in Game 5
while Wiggins scored 26 with
13 rebounds when Curry got cold.

In Game 6 at Boston Garden,
Warriors made a 20-0 run in first
and 2nd Quarters to seal the victory.

Steph Curry was given the NBA
Finals MVP, an award he has yet
to win, recognizing his greatness.

Steve Kerr has 9 Championship rings—
5 as player and 4 as head coach,
he made the Warriors a winner.
