Skeletal Museum Dan Piraro's Bizarro Comics (September 3, 2023)

Where is the UFO, eyeball, firecracker, and the apple pie? I hunt them daily in Piraro's comics cartoon "Bizarro". In Sunday's issues, comics is a whole page wide, and 1/4 page high. He honors Donald Duck & Mickey, Charlie Brown and Snoppy, Simpson, Popeye and Olive Oyl. But they're frozen, unable to move, displayed in skeletal form in an Anthropology Museum. Found UFO above Mickey Mouse, Eyeball by Flintstone, Firecracker close to Snoppy, Pie by Olive Oyl. Only Popeye seems alive with his can of spinach— eat them quickly and pass that apple pie around— perhaps the magic potion will wake everyone up! Ah ha!— it's working— Donald Duck goes "quack! quack!" "Red Baron" Snoppy on the attack! Fred Flintstone & Scoopy Doo are back; Popeye and Olive Oyl on the dance floor, who could ask for anything more? Whole room is rocking— jazz music & singing— drums thumping, trumpets blasting Zombie tunes playing— everybody dancing— clickety-clack! clickety-clack! — Peter Y. Chou      Mountain View, 9-4-2023
