Touch Bamboo Trees for blessings on Rengstorff Ave, tall Pines by Safeway & three "Sentinel" Redwoods are majestic to behold on Middlefield Road. Newspaper bins by Valero Gas Station— Pick up Daily Post, Daily News, Metro, & Mountain View Voice for dancers to read. Seven clusters of grapes on iron gates lead to Thaddeus Park where children frolic & play. A tall Redwood stands regally at Richard Court. "Sonnet" steps walk across Lambda Λ divider to Victory Ave where ten Λ arrow signs point in wrong direction on a one-way street. At corner of Claire Court & Middlefield Road— Canary Islands Palm & Washingtonia robusta remind me of Saint Francis and Sister Claire. Alvin Street sign separates Old Middlefield Way from Middlefield Road, heading to Toyota Palo Alto across from rhyming Mike's Bikes. An Asymmetric Tree by Jiffy Lube with branches away from traffic to Hwy 101 & a Bending Bay Tree towards Keats Court. Huff huff, puff puff, hour-long walk— here at last Cubberley Pavilion for ballroom dancing, where I'll dance all night and still have asked for more.                 Peter Y.
