Preface: After living at Cypress Lodge Apartments in Mountain View for 15 years, Spieker bought the 53 studio apartments in the complex and began renovating them— new bathroom, kitchen, windows & door. They increased the rent from $775 to &1250/month. Although I wished to stay, everyone had to vacate by December 31. A friend found a one-bedroom apartment near Grant Road, so I moved there on January 1, 2012. While walking around the neighborhood, I noticed many streets with feminine names— Phyllis Avenue, Pamela Drive, Camille Court, Barbara Avenue. Since Goethe ends Faust with "Eternal Feminine leads us above", and Dante needs Beatrice to guide him to Paradise, perhaps being around "feminine streets" will bring me good luck. While walking to the Bus #22 bus stop, I pass a "Bowl tree" on Phyllis Avenue, and touch it for heavenly blessings. On photographing this "Bowl Tree" (Feb. 21), I saw a palm tree in the middle. Since the palm is a solar symbol, perhaps this "Bowl Tree" has the sacred gift of alchemical gold. I'm sharing photos of clouds shaped like an eagle, phoenix, and giant bird (rukh) taken on Feb. 21-22. May these celestial birds bring us blessings.
