Preface:
Friday, April 21, 2017 was the first hike of Tom McCarthy's
2017 Trail Hike class
(PHED 23A) at Baylands / Shoreline Park. Came here October 4, 2013 & April 17, 2015 when I took Trail Hiking and Day Hiking classes with Tom. Met Tom & Robin coming back at 2:30 pm today. My friend and I walked leisurely around the Baylands Nature Preserve from 1:53 pm to 4:45 pm. No pelicans were sighted. Surprisingly, there were very few birds at Shoreline today. Only sightings were two Snowy Egrets, a Great Blue Heron, several Mallard Ducks, Seagulls, and four Canadian Geese. Below are 33 photos of today's Shoreline Park walk. |
