Preface: Gene Tognetti's 6-28-2023 lesson (6:00-6:30 pm)— Used Adobe Firefly to create instant photos: Text to Image, Generative Fill, & Text Effects. I was not familiar with this new software, and was impressed that he typed "Racecars in forest" and "Pigeons in the park with rain" and four images popped up in seconds. He was able to place sunshine in the forest and blue building in the park using "Generative Fill". For "Text Effects", he placed tree twigs or wires inside the fonts. Since this was his first demo he didn't tape the session. Told me he'll have a taped version by noon on June 29. Below is what he did, and my experimentation with Adobe Firefly.

Four versions of image
"Pigeons in park with rain"
Chose Pigeon
flying at center Since Tognetti didn't post his "Pigeon in the park with rain" images, decided to replicate it, typing prompt "Text to Image". Firefly.Adobe.com does not show up in Safari browser, so need to go to Google Chrome browser for it to appear. Couldn't find box to type prompt, and asked for help. After some time, the prompt box appeared near the bottom of page. Downloaded the four "Pigeon in park" images and "Pigeon flying in center" image to my Apple Laptop. Resized images to 600x600 pixels and 500x500 pixels respectfully. Could not do "Generative Fill" like Tognetti did, placing a blue building in the background.

at a Paris Café Asked prompt for photo of Hemingway & F. Scott Fitzgerald
at Paris Café. Answer was not photos but drawings of patrons at café in Paris, none of whom resembled Ernest Hemingway.
