Preface: For my VTA Clipper Card Bus Pass to be valid, Al Guzman made me take the 0 unit class LINC-405 "Beginning Technology Skills" with Kas Pereira in Summer 2021. Since then, I've taken this class in LINC-405: Summer 2021. and LINC-405: Fall 2021. For Winter 2022, William Cavada does Skills Workshop on Wednesday at 6:00-6:30 pm. Kim Randall runs the Q&A Session at 6:30-7:00 pm. I've summarized the assignments done for Winter 2022.

1. Google Gmail (Feb.2, 2022)
Sent email to Al Guzman based on
the Skills Workshop taught by
William Cavada on February 2.
He showed how to place a
circular photo of himself on
top and a Signature with title
at bottom of the email.

2. Google Drive (Feb. 9, 2022)
After watching William Cavada's
Skills Workshop on Google Drive
Jan. 17-21 (6:00-6:30 pm),
decided to replicate poem
"Squirrel Sonnet" done in HTML
in Google Drive. Imported image
"Squirrel Pushing Wind" and pasted
text below. Also title above photo.
Photo won't print in Safari & Chrome,
but printed in Firefox Browser @ 95%.

3. Google Sites (Feb. 16, 2022)
After watching William Cavada's
Skills Workshop on Google Sites
Jan. 24-28 (6:00-6:30 pm),
decided to replicate poem
"Oriental Turtle Dove" done in HTML
in Google Sites. Imported image
"Oriental Turtle Dove" and pasted
text below. Also title above photo.
Used White(164x200).jpg to bump
4 photos on the side down to be
next to text. Format not aligned well.

4. Google Drawings 3 (Feb. 22, 2022)
Google Drawings Assignment—
In this interactive lesson, you will learn
and practice the following skills:
• Open a Google Drawings template,
• Adjust the size of the canvas,
• Choose a background color,
• Insert text box(es),
• Insert text,
• Format text font, styling, color, and alignment,
• Insert image(s) from the web,
• Drag image(s) to the canvas,
• Format image(s).

Since I couldn't make the
Promotional Flyer using
the template in Google Drawings,
made the 7.6"x29" flyer in HTML
with light blue background. With more
vertical space, added 9 Film posters,
Rotten Tomatoes film reviews, and
Time of showings on Feb. 22, 2022.

5. Google Forms 3 (March 13, 2022)

• When Stephen Curry broke all-time 3-pointers record with 2974 (12-14-2022),
bookmarked this news story, and included it in my Numbers Collection (1000+);

8. Comparison of LINC-405(Winter 2022)
in Google Slides & HTML (3-22-2022)—
More comfortable working in HTML
than in Google Slides. Trouble with
font adjustments & spacing; Cavada
helped with clearance of background
color. Cannot make web links using
Google Slides that's easily done in
HTML, as well as language codes.
