Redbud Leaves (Cercis canadensis)

Redbud Leaves: These heart-shaped leaves came from a Redbud Tree at the San Antonio Shopping Center (Showers Drive & California Street) in Mountain View, California. Gathered October 8, 2009; scanned at Stanford Art Library with Photoshop touchups. Leaves show changing colors from green to orange to yellow— "the quickness of it all". Interesting anagrams for Cercis canadensis: "Scenic airs ascend" & "Scenic Airs Dances".
