SUN HAIKUS: 2007-2009

By Peter Y. Chou

After reading Rumi's Discourses #56 that the sun in our sky
is a metaphor for the Real Sun, I was shocked and meditated
more on the sun which gives us warmth, light, and life—
hoping these haikus will give me a glimpse of the Real Sun.
