Preface: While waiting for Bus #40 to Foothill College at Showers Drive & Latham Street, Mountain View (Saturday, February 23, 2013, 12:11 pm), I took photos of cirrus clouds that resembled a giant five-fingers hand stretching across the sky. The following week, as I walked up to Krause Center of Innovation at Foothill College (Saturday, March 2, 11:55 am), there appeared a face in the cumulus cloud. A metallic statue of three robots playing around an atom is perched near Building 4500, the new Science Center at Foothill College Los Altos Hills campus. I took six photos from the front and back (Saturday, March 9, 1:27 pm). There is no plaque identifying the name of this statue or its sculptor. After getting off Bus #40 at Foothill College Los Altos Hills upper campus, I noticed cirrus clouds resembling a giant brushstroke in the blue sky canvas. I took three photos (Saturday, March 16, 11:47-11:53 am) and wrote a haiku— "Swoosh of white on blue— / cloud burst of energy / inspires us to create." When Pope Francis was elected at 7 pm on March 15, 2013 at the Vatican, white puffs of smoke rose above the chimney of the Sistine Chapel. Meanwhile people in South Florida noticed an angel cloud near sunset, heralding the new pope's election. Many sent photos to TV stations WFLX and WPTV— "Angel Seen in Florida Sky After Pope is Named" (By Erik Derr, Latinos Post, 3-15-2013). See also Huffington Post & Coast to Coast.
