The Chinese word Ch'i (Qi) for breath is linked to vital force, energy flow or spirit. Many cultural traditions connect deer with soul. Greek for butterfly same as soul. In Fenn's The 5000 Dictionary: Chinese-English (1976), p. 320, the Chinese word for deer lu is placed above basket lu, and their ideograms appear similar. |
