Researchers found that people who couldn't stand on one foot were nearly twice as likely to die in the next 10 years. Researchers asked 1,702 Brazilians from ages 51 to 75 to stand barefoot on one leg with arms straight at their side for

Study from Brazil involved more than 2,000 people ages
51 to 80. They were asked to sit down on the floor, & then

if possible. Over the six-year study (ended October 2011),
159 people died, mostly those with lower tests scores.
