WATERLILIES II

O silvery moons complete and round
Singing of stillness and not of sound
Fluffy white clouds floating & fleeting
The weeping willows send their greeting
Blue skies are kissing the waters too
All mirrored in a clear pool of dew
The serene sweet silence they convey
Swiftly transforms the summer's day
Bringing fragrance to the morning air
O cease this moment, thou art so fair
Suddenly time has come to a stop
The Now-Moment before Basho's "Plop!"
Waterlilies blossoming here and there
Dancing in eternal joy everywhere!
