Preface: On Friday, October 23, 2009 after leaving Foothill College's Krause Center on the Los Altos Hill campus, I was waiting for the 5:16 pm Bus #40. When I looked up the sky, there was a giant "Fish Cloud" swimming in the deep ocean blue. I didn't have my camera with me to capture this magnificent image. Just to make sure I wasn't imagining another bird or fish in the clouds, I asked a student who was nearby what he saw in the clouds. He was amazed too "It's a fish! I wished I had my camera with me. I'm a photography major, and this would have been a fantastic shot." I hurriedly sketched the "Fish Cloud" on a 3"x5" piece of paper I carry around to write haikus before boarding my bus. The next two days I brought my camera along and managed several cloud photos that resembled a fish, a serpent, a shark, and some picturesque swirling clouds. I'm sharing these images below with my haikus.
