Preface: On Saturday, June 11, 2011, I arrived at Foothill College Krause Center for Innovation in Los Altos Hills at 11:50 am. When I noticed a "Cat Cloud" above the hills, I recalled similar "Cat Clouds" at Stanford Lake Lagunita (5-27-2011), on my street in Mountain View (11-26-2010), and earlier at Foothill College (10-25-2009). Ever since seeing "Cat in the Tree" (July 2010) in the eucalyptus tree across my apartment, cat images have been appearing in a painting at Stanford, on neighborhood sidewalks, and in clouds. One of the clouds photographed today resembled the Cheshire Cat from Alice in Wonderland. As I was snapping photos of these "cat cloud" images, a hawk flew into my camera frame. I followed its flight in the sky as it circled above me and was lucky to capture seven images of its soaring spirit. The last photos show the constructions going on at Foothill College's Los Altos Campus. The CTIS (Computer Technology Information System) Building where I took classes since 1990 and taught since 1996 brought back many fond memories. Because of low enrollment in computer science, CTIS Department is now absorbed (2011) in other Foothill Divisions (Business, Fine Arts, and Physics).
