Mori Point Hike & Rockaway Beach San Francisco, CA

Preface:
Al Guzman picked me up at my apartment at 8 am, Sunday, July 16, and drove to
Santa Clara HomeTown Buffet for breakfast.
Karen, a former Foothill College student came too. We went to Cinelux
Almaden Theatre to see Spider-Man: Homecoming at 12:30 pm,
where EMT Director Dave Huseman
joined us. It was a good movie, and we all gave it a "10". Karen offers to drive me home since she lives in
Palo Alto as Al lives in San Jose. Karen checks her iPhone & says it's a heat wave of 99oF in Palo Alto,
& only 70oF in Pacifica and wants to go to ocean to cool off. Al declines and I suggest we wait for Rudy
to come back from Lodi to go there. Since I identified Scott Catalog #s for ten
Nansen stamps Saturday,
need not go to Los Altos Library, and decide to go to Pacifica with Karen.
The climb uphill to Mori Point took 25 minutes. The panoramic view of bluffs, rocks, & the Pacific Ocean
was breathtaking. The Bootlegger's Steps from peak to ocean is 644 feet.
I counted 286 steps in the steep decline downwards. After the hike, Karen takes me to
Rockaway Beach
where white waves clashed up to the broadwalk. Below are 43 photos of this Sunday adventure.
