| Preface: On Sunday, July 29, 2018, Al Guzman picked me up at 8 am at my Mountain View apartment. Drove to Hometown Buffet (2670 El Camino Real) in Santa Clara for breakfast. Since the "Equalizer 2" film starring Denzel Washington at Cinelux Almaden Café & Lounge (2306 Almaden Rd, San Jose) doesn't start until 1:45 pm, we had enough time for a small hike. Al drove to San Jose Diridon Station. Took several history photos in glass cases inside the station and some outside the Bus Depot. Went to Almaden Road Bridge & strolled down Redbird Dr., Nightingale Drive, & Ironwood Drive. Al took a turn on Sands Drive where I photographed "Church on the Hill" sign. Our hour and half walk brought us back in time for the 1:45 pm showing of Equalizer 2. Four days later a hawk landed on the iron gate by Foothill College's Krause Center. It rested there for an hour and I got nearby to take photos. Since Al and I walked around Redbird Dr. & Nightingale Dr., I'm including the "Hawk" photos to synchronize with the "Bird Streets" we strolled on Sunday. |
