Redwood Grove Walk Los Altos, California

Preface:
Redwood Grove Nature Preserve at 482 University Avenue in Los Altos
is an oasis in town. Visited here last on June 25, 2010 and took 35 photos.
My best student from Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) and friend Deborah Oakley,
an Associate Professor in Architecture at UNLV came for a visit and wished to go on a nature hike. I suggested
Edgewood
County Park to see the superbloom of wildflowers. But since the trails there are mostly in open space, I decided to take her
here to walk around this mini-forest of Redwoods. Deborah's last visit was March 3, 2015, when we explored the
Architecture at Stanford Medical School. Today we entered
the Redwood Grove by way of Shoup Park (400 University Ave),
arriving here at 11:29 am and finished our walk at 12:19 pm. Deborah drove to
Roberts Market (3015 Woodside Road, Woodside)
for a veggie sandwich before we headed for
Huddart Park in San Mateo for hiking.
