On Sunday, December 2, 2018, Al Guzman picked me up at 8 am in Mountain View.
Al drove to Hometown Buffet (2670 El Camino Real) in Santa Clara for breakfast at 8:30 am. Rudy Perez joined us at 8:45 am. Printed $5.99 Breakfast Buffet Coupons with additonal $2.99 for drinks. Al bought tickets for "Green Book" at CineArts Santa Row starting at 1:20 pm. After we finished breakfast, Al, Rudy, and I had a short walk along El Camino Real (11:25 am-12:02 pm). Rudy couldn't join us for the movie, going to Barnes & Noble for discussions with classmates on their C++ homework. Al drove to San Tomas Expressway, turned right, and in 10 minutes we were in Santana Row. Al parked close to CineArts today as we had to walk half-hour last time, parking further away. Took 30 photos (12:18-12:53 pm) walking up and down Santana Row, that were more interesting than the earlier El Camino photos. We met Astronomy Professor John Beck at CineArts Theatre at 1:00 pm. We enjoyed Green Book (1:20-3:30 pm), giving it 9+ ratings. This film is about a tour of the Deep South in the 1960s by African-American classical & jazz pianist Don Shirley and his white chauffer & body guard Tony Vallelonga.
